This site has two forms on it: a quote builder and a "Let's talk" enquiry. This page explains exactly what happens to what you type into them, and the small amount the site measures about your visit whether you fill in a form or not.

Who we are

Godspeed Digital is a trading name of Final Third Studios Pty Ltd (ABN 34 665 766 129), based in the Sutherland Shire, New South Wales, Australia. We are the entity responsible for the information described here. Contact us any time at info@godspeed.digital.

What we collect

What you type into one of the two forms:

  • Quote builder: your name, your email address, the project type and services you selected, the ballpark estimate the calculator produced, and any detail you added in the notes field.
  • Let's talk: your name, your email address, and the answers you selected about your business size and whether you have worked with an agency before.

Both forms are voluntary. You can read every page on this site without submitting either one, and we do not require any information to browse.

Analytics

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. The first tells us which pages people read. The second tells us how quickly pages load on real devices, so we can fix the slow ones. Both are anonymous and neither sets a cookie on your browser.

Between them they record: the page you viewed, the site you arrived from, the search or campaign tags in the link you clicked, your approximate location worked out from your IP address (country, state and city, never your street address), your device type, your operating system and browser and their versions, your connection speed, how long the page took to load and settle, roughly how long you spent on each page, and how you used our enquiry forms: whether you opened or sent one, and which type of work and services you picked in the quote builder (never what you typed into it).

What they do not record is you. There is no cookie, no login, no advertising identifier and no stored IP address. To count visitors without one, Vercel turns each incoming request into a hash, and discards it after 24 hours. That is long enough to avoid counting one person twice in a day, and too short to follow anyone across days, or across other websites. We cannot tell who you are from any of it, and neither can Vercel.

We can see that a page was read. We cannot see that you read it.

What we do not collect

No advertising pixels, no session recording, no heatmaps, no tracking cookies and no third-party advertising networks. We do not build a profile of your visit, we do not follow you to other websites, and we do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone, ever.

Videos on our project pages

Some project pages show a film. Nothing is requested from YouTube until you press play. Until then you are looking at a still image served from this site, and YouTube does not know you are here. If you do press play, the video loads from YouTube on the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain, and from that point Google's own terms apply to that playback. That is your choice to make, which is why it takes a click rather than happening the moment the page opens.

Why we collect it

To reply to you. That is the whole purpose: to answer your enquiry, put together a quote, and have a conversation about whether we are a fit for each other. We do not use form submissions for any unrelated purpose.

Marketing

Submitting a form does not subscribe you to anything. Enquiries are kept in their own list, separate from any newsletter, and we will not add you to marketing sends unless you separately and explicitly ask to be added. This is deliberate, and it is what the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) requires. If we ever do send you marketing, every message will carry a working unsubscribe link.

Who else touches your information

Four service providers, all necessary to make the site, its typeface, its forms and its analytics work:

  • Vercel Inc. (United States) hosts this website and provides the two analytics products described above. Their servers keep standard technical request logs, which can include your IP address, for a short period.
  • Klaviyo, Inc. (United States) receives and stores form submissions so we can manage and respond to enquiries.
  • Notion Labs, Inc. (United States) stores form submissions as our internal record of who has enquired.
  • Adobe Inc. (United States) serves the typeface our headings are set in, through Adobe Fonts. Your browser fetches the font from Adobe’s servers, so Adobe receives your IP address in order to deliver it, but does not store it, and sets no cookies. Adobe records which fonts were served and on which website, to run the service and to report usage to the type foundry.

All four are located overseas, which means your information is stored outside Australia. By submitting a form you consent to that overseas disclosure. We take reasonable steps to use reputable providers, but we cannot guarantee that an overseas recipient will handle information in a way that complies with the Australian Privacy Principles, and Australian Privacy Principle 8.1 will not apply to those disclosures.

The analytics described above are also processed overseas by Vercel. Because that data is anonymous and cannot be linked back to you, it is not personal information. Apart from the IP address Adobe needs to deliver the typeface, and does not keep, browsing the site does not disclose anything about you personally to anyone.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while there is a live conversation, and for up to two years afterwards so we have a record of who we have spoken to and what was quoted. After that we delete them. If you become a client, the relevant records are kept for as long as the law requires us to keep business records.

Security

Form submissions travel over an encrypted connection and are sent from our own server, never directly from your browser to a third party. We take reasonable steps to protect what we hold, though no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure.

Getting to your information, or having it deleted

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@godspeed.digital and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge for this. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so we do not hand your information to someone else.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your information, email info@godspeed.digital and we will investigate and reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can take it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

Changes to this policy

If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes to how we handle information already collected will not be applied retrospectively without your consent.
